June Workshops:
17th - Creating Your OWN Choreography.
6:30-8:30 PM. All levels.
Learn how to take your moves to the next level and create your own choreography! This workshop is designed to get you thinking deeply about movement and musicality while introducing topics such as phrasing and dynamics.

24th - Silken Motion: Sword Edition. Experienced.
6:15-7 PM. Warm up and strengthening for Sword. Bring Yoga Mat.
7-8:30 PM. The Silken Motion series is designed to introduce and reinforce the Elementals use of props. This time around? Sword, maneuverability and grace. This workshop will drill sword movement for maneuverability and grace then move into a series of lead and follow Indian Posture to strengthen muscles and balance. 1st - 'Throne' Choreography by Ruric Amari. Experienced.
6:30-8:30 PM. We will learn the foundation of Ruric's newest sword choreography including structure, basic poses, and some of the layers needed for this dance.

8th - Silken Motion. Skirt Edition. Experienced,
6:15-7 PM. Warm up and strengthening for Skirt.
7-8:30 PM. Get ready to fluff and flirt your skirt over hip articulations, shimmies, rolls and traveling steps. The skirt is a fun fantasy prop that can help add a little extra to your existing repertoire. Elementals use a mix of Turkish Oryantal technique and traveling steps to present the skirt as an upbeat partner for any International Hoedown.
