Intro to Flamenco Dance
with Diana Dinicola

This class will introduce flamenco fundamentals for dance: braceo - the movement of the upper body and arms; zapateado - footwork; palmas - rhythmic hand clapping; structure - the way to sequence movements to communicate with your live musicians.  

Flamenco Infusion Intensive
with Diana Dinicola
12:30-1:15 pm

This quick infusion will get you a step beyond the basics to incorporate Flamenco posture and arms into your fusion.

Flamenco Fusion- Fan Workshop
with Teresa Tomb

Oh the exquisite passion and drama! As dancers we experience life through movement. Our emotions become fluid. In this workshop, we will fuse the emotion, elegance and elements of Flamenco Fan technique blushed with aspects of modern belly dance into something contemporary and timeless. 

Prepare to feel all the feels as you learn this Fan choreography to the song, “Ne Me Quitte Pas”. 
Dancers should bring a flamenco fan to class.

Come delight in beautiful dancing and live music, then throw on a hip scarf and join us for an after-hours Hafla! Featuring performances by Teresa Tomb, Diana Dinicola, Ruric Amari and the Elementals with live music by Flamenco Louisville and the Elementals Ensemble.
