Using Isis Wings to SOAR!
This workshop will look at the spectacular Isis Wings and how it connects to 'Bellydance'. As a theatrical addition to any show, this prop is often dropped in the opening act and then pushed aside. I feel Isis Wings are so much more and you will learn to wield it as the cape of the matador, the veil of the bellydancer, and the Queen of the ball.
This workshop will start by going over the Elementals style hand holds and positionings to get the most from your partner. We will then continue by learning to put wind beneath our wings and expand our vocabulary. We will finish with combinations to put everything together.
Please bring split Isis wings for practice. There will be a few loaners.
