She is a teacher, choreographer, director, entrepreneaur, and mother. Director of the Samovar Dance Companies. Dedicated student, teacher, and composer of Raqs Sharqi (Belly Dance), Ote'a (Tahitian), Hula, Bharatantyam, Doumbek, and Ipu Heke. Ruric-Amari’s performances, classes and workshops are innovative, professional and compelling. She is a frequent performer at weddings and parties, university functions, city festivals, major charity galas, television programs and dance concerts. Since 2003: Middle-Eastern dance with Sandra Hanes preceded by several years ballet and Irish step dance. Since 2007: Also attended Massage therapy school, Yoga Certified at 200 Hours, Pilates Level 1 mat certification. Spring 2012: ATS Teacher Certified by Carolena Nericcio. 2013-15: Studying Hula and Tahitian dance ongoing with instructors in Indianapolis and Hawaii.
